Micro-burst top-ups
Monitor, Desk Monitor, and Research accounts can add a $40 pack for 250,000 API usage units when a short-lived workload spike needs temporary overflow. Top-ups are not bulk capacity planning. Sustained expansion should move to a higher plan or Enterprise review. Top-ups do not enable automatic overages; usage caps remain visible before expansion. Usage units are non-transferable service metering units for Etna Alpha API routes only; they are not stored value, gift cards, vouchers, virtual currency, or cash equivalents.

- Is this time-limited evaluation access?
- No. Monitor, Desk Monitor, and Research are paid plans with monthly or annual billing. Enterprise is application-only.
- Is packet feedback required?
- No. Feedback is optional and helps tune packet labels, docs gaps, and workflow friction.
- What happens if usage is low?
- Stay on the current plan. There are no automatic overages.
- Can I resell raw data?
- No. API access returns derived packet context and does not grant raw dataset redistribution rights.
- When do I need Enterprise?
- Use Enterprise for sustained high volume, private endpoints, custom delivery, SLA needs, or data-rights review.
- Are top-ups bulk capacity?
- No. The $40 pack is for micro-burst or temporary overflow; recurring volume belongs on a larger plan.
Taxes and receipts
Taxes, if applicable, are calculated by the payment processor when Stripe Tax is enabled or reviewed manually before invoiced access. Subscription Checkout receipts close through the signed webhook path; the one-time API key is emailed to the checkout email address and is not returned in the browser.

Etna Alpha provides market-state context only. It does not custody customer funds and does not provide financial advice. API access does not by itself grant the right to resell, republish, sublicense, or redistribute raw datasets outside your organization.

Stripe Checkout Sessions are active for Monitor, Desk Monitor, and Research when the public readiness gates pass. Active accounts start micro-burst top-up checkout from the keyed account path, so signed top-up receipts apply prepaid usage units to the current tenant. Subscription receipts close by emailing the one-time API key to the checkout email address. Both flows stay on the signed receipt review path instead of returning key material in the browser.
