Refund Policy
Effective June 14, 2026. This policy applies to Etna Alpha API plans, prepaid API usage-unit top-ups, and contracted enterprise access unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
API plan cancellation
Monthly API plans can be cancelled before the next renewal period. Access normally remains available through the paid term unless access is suspended for abuse, security risk, or violation of the terms.
Refund eligibility
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We will generally consider refunds for duplicate charges, accidental purchases, or material inability to access the service when the request is made within seven days of purchase.
If an Etna-side issue prevents a paid Builder, Pro, or Research account from receiving an API key or calling the first packet route within seven days of purchase, the account is eligible for refund review or service credit.
Micro-burst top-ups
Micro-burst usage-unit packs are generally non-refundable once usage units are consumed by API calls. Unused top-ups may be reviewed for refund or service adjustment at Etna Alpha's discretion. Usage units have no cash value and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, redeemed, or exchanged outside Etna Alpha API access.
Alternate processors
Public API checkout currently uses Stripe. If Etna Alpha separately enables another processor in writing, refund timing and mechanics may follow that processor's terms and settlement rules.
Enterprise agreements
Enterprise invoices, contracted capacity, custom delivery, dedicated support, and SLA commitments follow the refund and cancellation terms in the applicable written agreement.
Request a refund
Send requests to sales@etnaalpha.io with the account email, invoice or receipt ID, date of purchase, and reason for the request.
